Tour report from the danish shows so far:

Copenhagen: We played Vega last year as opener for Megadeth. And it's safe to say that there was more people in the crowd back then. But determination was a virtue today and you guys up front wasn't getting tired. Thanks, and see you next time.

Viborg: This is a great club, we played here before 6-7 years ago. Great sounding PA and monster lighting. This was a great show, thanks to everybody that helped make this a good one.

Vejle: Even though the ticket price was record high we had a tight crowd and it was a great show. Too bad, that someone decided to slit his wrist during our set. I never thought I should be told that someone actually tried to kill himself during our show. Man, I think there are too many reasons to stay alive, and having to get 14 stings in your wrist after a Konkhra concert isn't exactly a great evening out. What is worse, though, is that after he got sewn they let him go!!
Later he tried to jump off the tallest building in Vejle but he was arrested and held by the police.
A cry for help in the worst degree. I hope there is help for this kid. Fuck.

Albertslund: All in all it was an O.K. show, but this place is notorious for not having to many people in the crowd. Would be cool to have a handful of the Italian or spanish metallers in the crowd.
But the people that did show up was giving it all, and it turned out to be a great show.
We had lots of fun.

Lyngby: Feels pretty good to play live again. Cool with Johnny back on the drums and we could play songs from every record, S.A.D. and Visually Intact are back in the set, and so are Spit Or Swallow and Hooked. It was a great show, and the people went crazy.

August:

Sorry.

July:
After Per's retrieval to Sweden, Konkhra has convinced "Spit" and "SAD" veteran Johnny Nielsen to once again pick up the sticks and join the band for their upcoming tour of Denmark. The band will play songs from all four albums on the tour, and definately include some of the more intricate older material.

July: Konkhra is currently discussing whether they should form a Label themselves and release a full length album of their favourite cover songs. The band feels that this would be a great way to introduce a new drummer and furthermore could give the fans something good before the next album will be released The band has no plans to release a 5th album on their own roster, but will definitely sign to a label and secure availability world-wide.
But: What does the fans think? Would you like to get a full-length coversong album? What songs would you like to hear them play? Put your opinion on the web forum.

July: 6 months after leaving Diehard records the band is still the best-selling name on the roster. Having sold aprox. 1000 copies more than Artillery, Konkhra holds the number 1 spot even after leaving and doing a minimum of press.

July:  Per M. Jensen has left the band to concentrate on his involvement with The Haunted. The Haunted has a new album coming out soon, and Per's drumming on there is fabulous. Check it out.
Konkhra is auditioning  replacement drummers during July/August, and will be ready for the upcoming tour in Sept/Oct. Interested drummers can email konkhra@konkhra.com and send demos to: Starstruck Studio, Gladsaxe Møllevej 21.1., 2860 Søborg, Danmark.

Good luck to Per and The Haunted.

May:  Hi there. It's been a while since we updated the news section and I think I'll let people know what's up. After we got back from the tour with Napalm Death it soon became obvious that Diehard were going to drop the ball and didn't wanna tour the band like they promised in the fall. All those great plans about the far east, the states and all that just fell through. So after a "meeting" we decided to let it go. If you checked the Web forum or saw newsposts anywhere you already know this.
So what happened since that:

I've been writing the songs for the next Daemon album, to be recorded ( For Diehard Records..) during the summer with Gene Hoglan behind the drums...what a blast...It'll be great and I hope Diehard will get this record to everybody, in States as well as Europe. ( To people who're looking for C.D.C. in the states, I'm sorry it didn't get out yet, but Diehard tells me they're trying to get it out...we'll see..?)

We are going to record a couple of songs next week, and then decide which label we'll release through next. We are talking to a few and by the way it looks now, I can promise that it'll be somebody who can get the record out everywhere....
